PhD with scholarship at Politecnico di Torino for Unite! students

The offer is addressed to those students interested in pursuing their PhD in the fields of green revolution and ecological transition, renewable energies, digital transition, circular economy or sustainable mobility.
Politecnico di Torino (PoliTo) offers all Unite! students the possibility to do a PhD and access the scholarship programme at the italian university. The offer is especially addressed to PhD candidates from the Universities that are part of the Unite! alliance, interested in pursuing a PhD in co-tutelage and focused on the fields related to the green revolution and ecological transition, renewable energies, digital transition, circular economy or sustainable mobility. 

The offer, open for the next two years, has additional funding for the PhD under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) and is also supported by the EU. Specifically, it is planned to award 100 additional scholarships that will be co-financed with companies and 44 more, fully funded by the Ministry. Candidates will spend at least six months abroad. 

The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) is Italy's plan to revive its economy after the COVID-19 pandemic. The NRRP is part of the European Union's Next Generation EU programme, a 750 billion euro European recovery fund. In Italy, 191.5 billion was allocated (70 in grants and 121 in loans).

There are two deadlines for applications: 1 June 2022 and 9 September 2022. The admission process will end on 30 September 2022 and doctoral students will start on 31 December 2022
