Anders Söderholm has been the President of KTH since 1 December 2022. In line with KTH's vision, he is driving a KTH that takes the lead for a sustainable society through research, education, and innovation.

Anders Söderholm has held various positions in the academic sector, including a spell as Director General for UKÄ, Swedish Higher Education Authority, 2017-2022 and Secretary General of the Association of Swedish Higher Education Institutions, SUHF. He was Vice Chancellor of Mid Sweden University 2008–2016 and Dean of Umeå School of Business, Economics and Statistics 2000–2003.

Anders Söderholm holds a PhD from Umeå University (1991), with a thesis on municipal industrial policies. He has been a professor at KTH, and a guest researcher at Stanford University and Åbo Akademi.
