Anshika Suri holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from SSAA, India and an Erasmus Mundus double MSc. degree in International Cooperation in Urban Development from TU Darmstadt and International Cooperation in Sustainable Emergency Architecture from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Additionally, she also holds a PhD in Architecture and Urban Development Planning (2018). She is currently pursuing her postdoctoral qualification (Habilitation) in Urban Studies.

Anshika's professional experience includes consultant architect in India, research intern at housing and urban development consultancy for the World Bank in UK, and research associate in academic institutions in Germany, Belgium Tanzania, and Kenya. She has been affiliated with TU Darmstadt since 2015, initially as a Hans Böckler Stiftung PhD scholarship holder. She worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the Board of Graduate School of Urban Studies, researched under the Chair for Urban Design and Development at the Faculty of Architecture at TU Darmstadt. Anshika is also the co-lead researcher of the "Urban Morphosis Lab" (UML), a research lab and networking platform dedicated to exploring the complexities in urban transformations in an international and comparative contexts.
