Doctoral Research Grant opportunities in three Unite! priority areas (1st call)

The call for the 15 PhD Fellowships is open from July 20th to August 21st, 2023, under the collaboration agreement between ULisboa and FCT.

The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) in collaboration with Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) and together with Unite! will award 15 PhD Fellowships in three Unite! priority areas, although not excluding others areas:

    • Energy conversion and storage (photovoltaics, wind, batteries, hydrogen)
    • Artificial intelligence
    • Industry 4.0 
    The research work underlying the grants will be carried out at the University of Lisbon and at another Unite! partner university, promoting institutional cooperation.
    The grants will be funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), under the FCT-UNITE Protocol.
    All the application procedures, including submission, evaluation, results communication, preliminary hearings, claims, and appeals are exclusively done online.
