Doctoral Research Grant opportunities in three Unite! priority areas (2nd call)

The call for the 9 PhD Fellowships is open from 24 November to the 31st of December, 2023, under the collaboration agreement between ULisboa and FCT.

The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) in collaboration with Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) and together with Unite! will award 9 PhD Fellowships in three Unite! priority areas, although not excluding others areas:

    • Energy conversion and storage (photovoltaics, wind, batteries and hydrogen)
    • Artificial intelligence 
    • Industry 4.0 
    The research work underlying the grants will be carried out at the University of Lisbon and at another Unite! partner university, promoting institutional cooperation.
    The grants will be funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), under the FCT-UNITE Protocol.
    All the application procedures, including submission, evaluation, results communication, preliminary hearings, claims, and appeals are exclusively done online.
