Doctoral research grant opportunities in three Unite! priority areas (3rd call)
The call for 10 PhD Fellowships is open from 29 March to 30 April 2024, under the collaboration agreement between ULisboa and FCT.
The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) in collaboration with Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) and together with Unite! will award 10 PhD Fellowships in three Unite! priority areas, although not excluding other areas:
- Energy conversion and storage (photovoltaics, wind, batteries and hydrogen)
- Artificial intelligence
- Industry 4.0
The research work underlying the grants will be carried out, in whole or in part, at ULisboa, preferably in articulation with another entity linked to any of the other universities that integrate ULisboa, promoting institutional cooperation.
The grants will be funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), under the FCT-UNITE Protocol.
All the application procedures, including submission, evaluation, results communication, preliminary hearings, claims, and appeals are exclusively done online.
