Turning Research into Innovation | 21–22 January 2026

In 2026, Inovalo360 returns with a new edition focused on helping researchers translate scientific results into practical innovation and valorisation opportunities. Co-organised by Université Grenoble Alpes and the Unite! University Alliance, this Winter School offers an immersive learning experience, free of charge and open to the international research community.

Open to doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and experienced academics, Inovalo360 provides practical insights into innovation pathways, research valorisation mechanisms and the European innovation ecosystem.

Two complementary days

21 January 2026
A full day dedicated to the fundamentals of innovation and research valorisation, open to participants from all disciplines and research backgrounds. The programme explores how research results can be developed beyond scientific publications.

22 January 2026 – Exclusively for non-French speakers
This online session, held entirely in English, is designed for international researchers and staff. It offers a focused introduction to innovation and knowledge transfer in a European context, with tailored insights into research valorisation pathways. This day is exclusively reserved for non-French-speaking participants and is a key highlight of the 2026 edition.

What participants will gain

During the Winter School, participants will:

  • Explore different pathways for transferring research results, including start-up creation, industrial partnerships and Open Science approaches.

  • Learn how to protect research outputs through intellectual property strategies.

  • Discover practical case studies illustrating successful innovation and valorisation processes.

  • Engage with experts from the research, innovation and technology transfer ecosystem.

A strong innovation ecosystem

The programme builds on a solid research and innovation ecosystem, bringing together key academic and innovation stakeholders. This collective approach ensures high-quality content rooted in practical experience and European research valorisation dynamics.
