Seven Unite! students to represent the alliance at ESA 2026
From 20 to 22 April, Strasbourg will host the 5th edition of the European Student Assembly (ESA 2026), the flagship initiative of the EUC Voices Erasmus+ project. This year, seven students from Unite! universities have been selected to represent our alliance and contribute to the future of European policy.
Strasbourg (France) welcomes back the annual event, which brings together around 250 students from 65 European University Alliances to debate and draft policy recommendations. Among the Unite! delegation, these seven students will serve as both participants and panel coordinators, a role reserved for those with proven leadership experience and subject expertise.
The 8 discussion panels:
The assembly will be structured around eight essential themes that address Europe's current challenges:
Strengthening democracy: bridging the gap between EU institutions and citizens
Scaling the circular economy: encouraging cross-sectoral systemic change
Aligning budget with impact: adapting Union funding to social shifts
Europe moving together: developing an inclusive public transport system
Unlocking digital potential: empowering digital literacy and cybersecurity resilience
Educating without borders: supporting interdisciplinary cooperation in universities
Enabling generational solidarity: addressing demographic change and senior participation
Europe’s strategic autonomy: reconciling trade agreements with core EU values
More than just a conference, ESA 2026 is a platform where European students connect, debate, and share diverse perspectives to shape the transformation of tomorrow’s Europe.
