ULISSES Project launches its 6th edition

Applications for the 6th edition of the ULISSES project are open until 15 December.

ULISSES - University of Lisbon Interdisciplinary Studies on Sustainable Environment and Seas is a project that will provide students with a deep knowledge of ocean related problems.

Who for?

Addressed to students willing to be part of a multidisciplinary team composed by colleagues from other national and foreign universities, this initiative takes place over several weeks in which students will be challenged to present solutions that contribute to the current challenge of Ocean Sustainability. 

Why join ULISSES? 

• Work on a fascinating project as part of an international and interdisciplinary team supported by research assistants and specialists in each discipline? 

• Connect and collaborate with colleagues from other schools and other countries? 

• Deepen your knowledge about the ocean and its relevance for the sustainability of our planet? 

• Participate in an intensive programme that includes the Erasmus+ mobility. 

• The programme is free and completion confers 6 ECTS credits

• The teaching programme involves the University of Lisbon, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the Technische Universität Darmstadt. 

Calendar 2026

• Applications until 15th December, 2025 

• Preparatory phase from 26th January to 4th April (e-learning, compatible with classes) 

• Team Project from 6th July – 24th July (in Lisbon) 

• Final presentation: 24th July (in Lisbon)
