Unite! wraps up outreach activities with "Road to University"

Over 200 high school students from across the alliance got their first taste of higher education through "Road to University," an online pilot session organised by the Unite! Outreach workgroup to connect prospective students with international academic life.

On September 25, the Unite! Outreach workgroup, coordinated by Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), hosted the online pilot event "Road to University" within the framework of the pre-university outreach workgroup.

Designed to give high school students a first taste of university life before enrolling, the one-hour session co-organised by UPC and PoliTO brought together over 200 students from 11 schools and 18 classes across Europe. Professor Wolfgang Brabänder from TU Darmstadt delivered the keynote lecture, providing attendees with an authentic academic experience while highlighting the international collaboration and outward reach of the Unite! network.

The event saw active involvement from seven Unite! partner universities: UPC, PoliTO, TUDa, Aalto, TU Graz, KTH and Wrocław Tech.

The initiative promoted cross-border connections among prospective university students, bringing the alliance's recent outreach efforts to a successful close.
