Unite! Doctoral Event: from Master’s to PhD
Are you considering pursuing a research career after your Master’s? We are hosting a joint event across all Unite! universities where you can connect with researchers to learn about their doctoral journeys.
Discover what inspired them to pursue a PhD, what daily life as a researcher is really like, and the professional opportunities that await you after graduation.
The Unite! Doctoral Event will take place on 21 April, from 11:00 to 12:00 CET (12:00–13:00 Finnish time / 10:00–11:00 Portuguese time).

The session will be divided into two online parts:
Part 1 | Joint Unite! Session (General): The event opens with a welcome talk by Professor Ignasi Casanova (UPC): "Why pursue a Unite! Doctorate?". This will be followed by interactive discussions with PhD students and research staff from various academic fields across the nine partner universities, sharing their first-hand experiences.
Part 2 | University-Specific Sessions: In the second hour, participants can join breakout sessions hosted by each of the nine Unite! universities to learn about specific doctoral opportunities at each institution.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the world of research!
