Unite! Networking Hub (Session 2) | Community Building at our Universities: Sharing Initiatives and Experiences

This Unite! Networking Hub session is all about community building. How do we welcome new staff, strengthen community on campus and foster belonging, collaboration, and engagement among staff and faculty? Join this session to discuss, share experiences, and exchange best practices.

The Unite! Networking Hub session on 18 November is open to all staff and faculty within the Unite! alliance. Hosted by Dominika Baryło, this meeting will begin with a presentation of initiatives at Wroclaw Tech that strengthen community on campus and foster belonging, collaboration, and engagement among staff and faculty. Participants are then invited to discuss, share experiences, and exchange best practices to inspire new ways of community building locally at Unite! universities as well as within the alliance as a whole.

What is Unite! Networking Hub?

The Unite! Networking Hub is a virtual space designed for academic and administrative staff from Unite! universities. It’s more than just a networking event, it’s a collaborative hub where colleagues come together to connect and engage with peers facing similar challenges, share best practices and tools, exchange experiences and ideas, and foster a strong cross-institutional community spirit. Whether you're looking to solve a problem, showcase an initiative, or simply talk about your day-to-day work with someone who understands, the Networking Hub is for you.

How does it work?

  • 9 sessions per year, one per month (starting in October 2025)
  • Held on the third Tuesday of each month at 13:00 CET
  • Each session lasts approximately one hour
  • Hosted on a virtual platform
