The third instalment of the biggest Unite! internal event is approaching. Now, for the first time, the 3rd Unite! Dialogue Grenoble will open its doors to the public through a dedicated session on "European Values and Innovation".

Every six months, all staff and students from the seven universities gathered within Unite! meet to cooperate around the various themes and activities of Unite!. The 3rd Dialogue is organized, from March 8th to 10th, by Grenoble INP - UGA in a 100% online format and offers for the 1st time, a session open to the general public.

After Aalto University (Finland) and University of Lisbon (Portugal), Grenoble is hosting the work of reflection and advancement of Unite!, an innovative alliance in the field of engineering training and the development of European citizenship.

This 3rd Dialogue will allow the general public during its session on Tuesday, March 9th from 9.00 to 10.30 am CET to learn about the concepts of "European values ​​and innovation":

- 9:00 - Welcome address, Tanja Brühl  (Unite! President and President of TU Darmstadt).
- 9:10 - European universities and European Values, Constance Chevallier Govers (Professor at Grenoble INP-UGA). Download the summary

Since its creation in November 2019, Unite! has already led concrete actions. A few examples are:

  • As first of several joint programmes within Unite! the joint master's degree program specialized in engineering and data sciences (CoDaS) starts in autumn 2021. Further Joint Programmes are currently planned.
  • Unite! offers a Virtual Exchange Credit Programme in the field of Energy (30 online courses). Further credit programmes of this kind are currently developed.
  • The Unite! International Project Week is a growing family of short-term exchange programs with an challenge-based educational concept: it started in 2020 with INSPIRED. And since 2021 also includes the programme ULisses.
  • Unite! is one of four European university alliances to participate in the EUniQ project, thereby contributing to a future framework for quality assurance for European universities.
