Unite! will be offering a series of online workshops for the Unite! staff community, so that higher education institutions can support and contribute to the implementation of the Agenda 2030 and the achievement of the related 17 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Areas of contribution can include teaching, research, organizational governance, culture, and operations.

Unite!
aims to be an european reference alliance and thus, these workshops within Unite!'s Mobility4All, staff will be offered the opportunity to explore some key aspects of their contribuition to the UN Agenda 2030. Participation is welcome from all administrative staff, if useful, from academics too. By the end of this cycle of workshops, attendants will have examined their areas of intervention, how to evaluate their impact and increased their listening skills in English! 

The topic may be relevant especially for staff working in the:

  • sustainability/green office;
  • academic programme management; 
  • international project management; 
  • research project management;
  • data management for the university ranking;
  • communication (if SDGs need to be highlighted).

Speaker: Arch. Chiara Genta, PhD fellow, Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning, Politecnico di Torino and Università di Torino.

The first workshop aims at introducing the contribution of universities in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda and at identifying possible areas of intervention.

Second Workshop: Mapping and reporting university contribution on SDGs.

The second workshop focuses on mapping methodologies and tools for the evaluation of activities impacts on sustainable development. The second session is a hands-on session in which participants are asked to discuss and test the presented approaches.
