Unite! represents student leadership at EUSAF 2026
Student engagement within European alliances took center stage in Warsaw. From July 2 to 4, 2026, the SGH Warsaw School of Economics hosted the European Universities Student Ambassador Forum (EUSAF).
Organised under the umbrella of the Erasmus+ EUC Voices project, the three-day EUSAF forum served as a space to spark international dialogue, share successful engagement models, and discuss how to strengthen the student voice in university governance. The event gathered 53 student representatives from alliances across the continent, including Pau Morente Alcober, Student Ambassador from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - Barcelona Tech (UPC) representing Unite!.
Core focus: workshop and collaboration
The forum featured interactive workshops and co-creation sessions facilitated by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). The ambassadors focused their efforts on three strategic areas:
- Governance & Representation: Strategies to keep students at the heart of the decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Enhancing the synergy between students, academics, and European institutions.
- Community Building: Designing effective ways to foster meaningful engagement among students across alliance campuses.
"The forum provided valuable insights into how European University Alliances can work together more effectively while ensuring that students remain central to decision-making processes"
Long-term impact
Beyond the structured debates, EUSAF 2026 succeeded in building a lasting international network of student leaders that will continue to cooperate well past the event. Unite! reinforces its commitment to an open, collaborative university model where students don't just experience higher education—they actively help guide it.
