European Digital Campus: Lessons Learned from the Unite! implementation
How do we build a federated digital campus across Europe? Join us for an in-depth look at the practical realities of the Unite! alliance, where nine universities were developing their joint digital higher education.
Building upon the latest Unite! -report and new developments, this unique event moves beyond theory to explore the technical and organizational backbone of our shared infrastructure. Through short presentations and interactive Q&A, it will dive into the real-world challenges and successes of supporting teaching across borders.

Planned presentations by Unite! experts and discussion points:
- Visualising our IT landscape: Strategies for exchanging and visually mapping the diverse IT infrastructures of our partner institutions and the alliance to foster mutual understanding and alignment.
- Federated learning ecosystems and seamless registration: Exploring cross-border access to our Moodle LMS and eduGAIN.
- Seamless integration: Practical experiences with LTI connections for unified access.
- Infrastructure standards: The current status of the ESCI implementation across the alliance.
- Governance in action: How the Technical Commission drives decision-making.
