The aim of this webinar, which will take place online on 21th November from 5pm to 7pm, is to offer undergraduate, master's and doctoral Unite! students the tools and resources to improve their outreach and communication skills. Apply before 15th November.

Level up your outreach skills: power networking and cool communication for students is the title of the first Unite! Outreach training. The activity is for the alliance students interested in improving their communication skills when working with non-specialised audiences, such as future students, civil society organisations, citizens, small and medium-sized enterprises or public administrations.

Participants will analyse and evaluate the methods proposed by the trainers in practical and real cases related to the context of social responsibility in engineering and technology and equip themselves with the tools and insights to excel in outreach and communication.

During the session, which will be held in English, via zoom, Elisabet Arnó, lecturer in Communication Strategies and Tools for non-specialised audiences, will guide students in the identification of audiences and Rachel Playfair, lecturer in Technical Communication (UPC) will share some resources that will help participants to improve their skills. Student Adam Pawleta, a member of SURE! (Students in Unite for Representation and Empowerment).
will intervene to analyse the needs of audiences and present opportunities to work with them. The session will also include group work and presentations by participants.
