With the presentation of the paper "IRIS: Joint research & innovation support services," to explain what IRIS is and what results and impacts it is generating.

Members of Unite! Lidia Herrera (UPC), Valentina Romano (Politecnico di Torino), and Cyril Chevaux (Grenoble INP – UGA) attended the Annual Conference of the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA) held in Odense (Denmark) from April 23 to 25.

During the meeting, they presented the paper "IRIS: Joint research & innovation support services", which generated significant interest among attendees, especially in exposing how, through the Unite! alliance, tangible results are being achieved in the transformation of research and innovation management among member universities. A transformation facilitated in recent years by the development of IRIS, a joint network of Integrated Research and Innovation Services (IRIS), through which common lines are established for the development of the alliance in the research field.

Through the periodic interaction of the Grant Offices, Technology Transfer Offices, HR, and Open Science Offices of each partner university, a set of services has been identified to boost opportunities for international collaboration. The first seed of institutional transformation, which involves the training of professional profiles to improve Unite! services and the design of R&I services.

In fact, the network aims to enhance the transformation of research and innovation at Unite! universities and become an interface with the EU for the design and deployment of future EU funding schemes. In addition, IRIS will be connected to the Unite! E+ Services Office, which works as a facilitator to improve mobility and facilitate student participation.
